PCOS/PMOS is not a calendar problem.
It is a whole-body one.
Talira keeps your whole recorded history in view:
the range your cycles actually run, not a single date to wait for.
Cycles vary, often by weeks. Talira draws each of yours at the length it was, so the spread is what you see — and you learn about your own.
The problem
A single predicted date can be misleading when cycles are irregular.
When ovulation is irregular, delayed or absent — as it often is in PCOS/PMOS — a single expected date may not represent what actually happens. Talira keeps the cycles you recorded visible, at the lengths they actually were.
- No due dateNo expected date on your screens. An optional prep span, off unless you turn it on, is labelled as an estimate.
- No fertile windowNot for contraception or conception.
- No score for your bodyNothing graded or ranked.
- No diagnosisNot of ovulation, PCOS/PMOS, or mood.
What PCOS/PMOS actually is
Several signals, not one. That is why it was renamed.
PCOS/PMOS is several signals, not one, and no single signal tells the whole story. Together, over time, they can give a clearer picture. Talira keeps them together — so the whole can be understood, by you and by the doctor who reads it with you.
That is why, in May 2026, an international consensus of more than 50 organizations, published in The Lancet, renamed polycystic ovary syndrome as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS). It is the same condition, and adoption is gradual — so Talira uses PCOS/PMOS together. In India it is often called PCOD. It is the same condition. Polyendocrine. Several hormones, not one organ. Metabolic. Insulin, weight, blood sugar. Ovarian. The cycles — one part of three. Talira records all three.
Cycles
Bleeding, spotting, and the gaps between. Medicine-affected cycles set aside, not averaged in.
Skin & hair
The changes that rarely make it into a period app, tracked at the pace they actually change.
And how long it lasts
PCOS/PMOS does not switch off at midlife.
Talira describes the whole arc — and never says when you will reach a stage. That would be prediction. This is education.
Early years
Cycles can take up to about three years to settle; after that, the adult guide applies.
Reproductive years
Cycle, symptom and mood patterns over time — the most useful thing to bring to a visit.
Midlife
Cycles lengthen or briefly steady. Perimenopause and PCOS/PMOS blur together.
Later years
The cycle questions end. The metabolic story does not.
What that looks like
Quiet on the surface. Careful underneath.
Talira’s five screens, captured from the app as it runs, with fictional data.
Free
Log the day. As much or as little as you like.
Cycle day, period, signs, sleep, energy and mood. Your cycle pattern builds as you record it — the longest gap so far, right on the screen.
Free
Your history, month by month.
Bleeding, spotting, tests, mood and symptoms on the day they happened. No due dates — an optional prep span, off by default, is labelled as an estimate. On the pill, or taking progesterone in courses? Add the dates under Pill & progesterone, and the Calendar tells withdrawal bleeds — brought on by the medicine — apart from your own periods.

Talira Plus · 1 month free
One thing today, or nothing.
A gentle rhythm for the day, a steady wake time with your nights noted, and strength counted by the week against a band that is a reference, not a target. Nothing is scored, and a quiet week changes nothing that came before it.
Meal ideas from the food you cook
Your nights, and a steady wake time
Your muscle ledger, week by week
Free
Your settings, your medicines, your stage.
Profile and life stage, your medicines, privacy and backup. Your stage is described, never predicted — and any medicine change or change of life stage on your record is listed plainly.
Your space
Where you are now
Free to start, and your first month of Talira Plus is free. What you enter stays on your phone unless you choose to back it up, export it or share it.
Get TaliraEvery day
A few small habits you can actually keep.
Four ordinary things, held loosely, with meal ideas from the food you already cook. Strength counted too — the 2023 international guideline suggests muscle-strengthening on two days a week.
Slow is the whole point.
Every appointment
When you want it, Talira builds a one-page summary of your record — cycles, medicines, report values as you entered them — to hand over or read from. It stays out of the way until then. The Visit Kit is part of Talira Plus — free for your first month.
What you never see
Most of what is unusual here, you will never see working.
The decisions that took longest to get right.
Record when a medicine starts, stops or changes, and Talira marks your entries before and after that date, with general information about ten classes of medicine — never a reading of your body.
Each completed cycle is drawn as long as it was, so the spread is plain to see. Where a published range appears, it is named as a reference, never a verdict.
Come back after days or weeks away and it asks less of you, not more: one note is enough.
Notes you have read step back, instead of repeating themselves every day.
Over long gaps the lining of the uterus can keep building rather than shedding. Talira shows how long it has been since your last recorded period, with general information on why long gaps are worth mentioning to a doctor.
What you read changes with your stage — the early years after a first period, the reproductive years, midlife and later. One rule for every age would be wrong for most.
There is more. It reads better in the app.
Who built it
Designed by a physician. Not a substitute for one.
Every screen, refusal, boundary and detail decided by a physician. Some of the longest decisions were about what not to show.
- Grounded in published evidence and guidelines. The 2023 International Guideline, ACOG and the 2026 Lancet consensus.
- Boundaries on every screen. Your entries are organised plainly; the reading is left to a clinician.
Your data
Your record lives on your phone.
Talira doesn’t send your entries to us, to advertisers or to analytics services as part of normal use, and there is no Talira account or server copy. A copy leaves your phone only when you back it up, export it or share it yourself. The honest cost: if the phone goes and you have no backup, nobody else has a copy. So Talira keeps storage durable, shows the age of your last backup, and asks for one once there is a record worth protecting.
- No advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics or tracking. The part of Talira that holds your entries blocks ordinary outbound web connections by design — a property of how it is built, not a setting. A copy leaves your phone only when you back it up, export it or share it. A Talira Plus purchase goes through your app store; your entries are never part of it, and the store may share limited purchase details with us, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- A PIN, if you want one. Stored as a salted hash.
- Backups are a file you keep. Locked with a password you choose, small enough to keep anywhere. Restoring puts your record back as it was when you saved it.
