Talira Privacy Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026 · Version: 2026-10-05
Who we are: Renyra Health Systems LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Talira," "we," "us"). Talira is the name of our app.

The short version
Talira is designed so that the health and wellness entries you keep in the app remain on your device and are not transmitted to Renyra, advertising networks, analytics providers or other remote services as part of normal app operation. Talira does not use advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics or crash-reporting services that receive those entries.
There is no Talira account, and Renyra does not maintain a server copy of your Talira health and wellness record. We do not sell your entries or use them for advertising. Your record leaves your device only when you deliberately create, export, save or share a file. Separate app-store transaction information and information you choose to send to support are described in Section 7.
The rest of this policy explains that in full.
1. What Talira is
Talira is a wellness and education app for adults 18 and over who want to keep an organised record of their cycles and hormone health, including people living with polycystic ovary syndrome — now named polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PCOS/PMOS). It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, interpret laboratory results, give treatment advice, assess risk, confirm ovulation, or predict fertility. Health and treatment decisions should be made with an appropriate healthcare professional.
2. Information you enter into the app
You choose what to record. Depending on how you use Talira, that may include:
- Cycle information — period days, spotting, flow, and dates
- Symptoms and signs — skin and acne, hair changes, and other symptoms you select or write in
- Daily wellbeing — mood, energy, sleep hours and quality, and free-text notes
- Metabolic and body information — weight, waist, blood pressure, blood glucose, basal body temperature, and dinner timing or meals
- Home test results — LH or ovulation test results
- Laboratory values you type in — such as AMH, FSH, LH, TSH, prolactin, testosterone, SHBG, DHEAS, 17-OHP, HbA1c, glucose, insulin, OGTT, and lipids
- Medicines — medicines you select, with start, stop, and dose-change dates
- Profile and context — your name, if you add one, age, height, activity level, life stage, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, menopause status, food preferences, family history, goals, an upcoming appointment date, and questions you want to ask your doctor
- Visit notes — who you saw, what was advised, what to keep track of and when to follow up, the reason for a visit, and private notes you write, in your own words
- Habit program entries — meals, movement, sleep, and check-ins, if you use Rhythm
All of this is stored on your device, not on a Renyra server. See Section 4.
3. Information we do not collect
Talira does not transmit to Renyra the cycle, symptom, mood, reproductive-health, medicine, laboratory, meal, movement, sleep or other wellness entries you keep inside the app — the information listed in Section 2. We also do not collect, receive, or have access to:
- Account credentials — there is no Talira account
- Your precise location, contacts, photos, or other device content
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics
- Payment credentials — Apple and Google process payment (Section 7)
Talira does not use advertising identifiers or app-usage analytics for these features. Talira does not use advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics or crash-reporting services that receive your entries. The web content that stores and processes your Talira entries uses a Content Security Policy (connect-src 'none') that blocks ordinary outbound web connections. Native app-store and user-directed device functions described in this Policy operate separately. Buying or renewing Talira Plus is handled by your app store (Section 7) and involves none of your entries.
4. Where your information lives
Your entries are stored in Talira's private local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to Renyra or to other remote services as part of normal app operation; copies leave the device only through the backups, exports and sharing you choose (Section 5).
Optional PIN. You may set a PIN to lock the app. Newly created PINs are stored on your device in a one-way hashed form and do not leave the device. The PIN locks the app's screen; it does not encrypt your record.
Durability. The app asks your device to treat its storage as persistent so the operating system does not clear it. This request is advisory; the device decides. For that reason, Talira reminds you to save a backup file once you have a record worth protecting.
5. Backups, exports, and sharing you choose to do
Talira can create files at your request:
- Backup file — a copy of your record, encrypted with a password you choose (PBKDF2-SHA256 with 250,000 iterations, then AES-256-GCM). An encrypted backup cannot be read without the password, and we have no way to recover it. If your device cannot encrypt, Talira offers a plain backup file instead and warns that anyone who opens it can read it; if its storage is failing, it may offer a plain backup file as a fallback to help you preserve your data.
- Data export — the entries you made, as an unencrypted JSON file (talira-data.json). It is smaller than a backup and does not carry everything a backup does.
- Spreadsheet — your daily log as an unencrypted CSV file (talira-log.csv), one row for each day you logged: period, spotting, mood, weight, wake temperature, sleep, LH tests, flow, symptoms, energy, glucose readings and skin care.
- Visit Kit — a one-page summary you can print, save, or share with your doctor.
These files are created on your device and are under your control. If you save a file to a cloud drive, send it by email or messaging, or hand it to a clinician, it becomes subject to the privacy practices of that service or person, not this policy. The data export and the spreadsheet are not encrypted; treat them as you would any file that holds health information. We recommend encrypting any backup you store outside your phone.
6. How the app uses your information on the device
Personalised displays and summaries — including cycle patterns, comparisons across skin, hair and metabolism, habit suggestions, reminders and the doctor summary — are computed on your device from your own entries. No Talira health or wellness entry is sent to a remote service for that processing.
Talira does not scan your free-text notes to make medical or safety judgments: your notes are not analysed for meaning or monitored, they are not transmitted as part of normal app operation, and no one is notified. Talira is for wellness and education; it is not a medical service. If you have a health concern, speak with an appropriate healthcare professional.
7. Purchases and support
Picture, Rhythm and the Visit Kit are part of Talira Plus, a subscription. Today, Calendar and Me are free.
Talira Plus is purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, which processes the payment under its own privacy policy. Apple and Google process payment credentials. Talira does not receive your card number or bank-account credentials. The applicable store may make limited purchase, subscription, transaction, order, country/currency or account information available to Renyra through its developer tools for subscription administration, customer support, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, tax or legal compliance. Your Talira health and wellness entries are not part of those store transaction records. The check that your subscription is active happens on your phone, between the app and your store.
Support. If you contact Renyra at support@taliracares.com or through another support channel, Renyra receives the contact information and message content you choose to send. This is separate from the health and wellness record stored inside Talira.
8. Our website
Our website is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party resources — fonts and images are embedded in the page itself. Our web hosting provider may record standard server logs, including your IP address and the pages requested, for security and operational purposes under its own privacy policy.
9. Deleting your information
Because Renyra does not keep a server copy of your Talira health and wellness record, deleting it from the app removes the copies Talira keeps on your device. Remember to delete any backup or export files separately if you no longer want to keep them.
You can:
- Clear your record from within the app (Me → Preferences & privacy → Open privacy & data → Delete all my data).
- Uninstall the app, which removes its storage.
- Delete any backup or export files you have created.
Limited transaction, support or legal correspondence held outside the Talira health record may be retained as necessary for support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal obligations.
10. Children
Talira is for adults 18 and over and does not proceed for a user who enters an age under 18. Talira does not knowingly transmit a minor's Talira health and wellness entries to Renyra.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Talira already gives you direct control over the health and wellness record stored on your device. You can view your information, edit entries, create a backup, export your data, and delete your local record from within the app.
If you want to ask about limited information Renyra may hold because you contacted us or because an app store made transaction information available to us, contact support@taliracares.com.
India. Talira is designed to align with applicable requirements of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules as relevant provisions come into force. Talira's local-first design already gives you practical controls to access, correct, export and delete the Talira record stored on your device.
Renyra does not sell your personal information, including your Talira health and wellness entries, and does not use it for targeted advertising.
12. International use
Talira is offered by Renyra Health Systems LLC, a United States company, and is currently being launched for users in India. Because your Talira record stays on your device, it is not transferred to us or across borders by the app. If you choose to share an export, you control where it goes.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version at https://taliracares.com/privacy.html with a new effective date. If a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide the required notice and/or obtain the required consent before the change takes effect. A material change that would involve Talira transmitting your health and wellness entries to Renyra will not take effect without a new version of the app that clearly asks for your consent.
