Talira Medical and Safety Disclaimer
For adults 18 and over.
Talira is a wellness and education app. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Talira does not:
- diagnose PCOS/PMOS or any other condition;
- interpret laboratory results or say whether a value is normal or abnormal;
- give treatment advice or recommend medicines or doses;
- assess your health risk;
- confirm or predict ovulation, fertile days, or safe days;
- give a due date for your next period (an optional prep span, off unless you turn it on, shows the dates your own past cycle lengths cover and how many of those cycles had started by the same day — an estimate that is often off);
- screen for or assess mental health.
Talira is not for contraception or for trying to conceive.
The information Talira shows you is drawn from published clinical guidance and is general education. It is not a verdict on your own record, and it cannot account for your individual circumstances. Where a published range is shown, it is a reference, never a verdict.
Nothing in Talira replaces consultation with a qualified clinician. Health and treatment decisions should be made with an appropriate healthcare professional.
Talira is a wellness and education app. It is not a medical service and cannot contact anyone on your behalf. If you have a health concern or feel unwell, contact a doctor.
Talira does not scan your free-text notes to make medical or safety judgments, and no one monitors the app. Talk to your doctor about any health concern.
